It will be tough but we have two other stores that are non-smoking and things are going well there.

Brian and I will vote for some kind of smoking ordinance while Jack is against it,

The issue I will highlight is the chemicals in cigarette smoking that can lead to the changes in the genes that cause cancer. This will be a good opportunity for people to learn more about the various aspects of cancer.

Our hypothesis is that smokers who receive counseling will be more likely to quit smoking. We are hoping for a 25 percent to 30 percent success rate, which appears to be low but would be a significant improvement over the current rate.

A lot of the nervousness has already been priced in. Unless there is a smoking gun, the market will calm down.
