I don't think Apple wants to emulate Sony. I don't think they want to do video cameras. I don't think they want to do TVs. They are rounding out the Mac consumer ecosystem. I think they will be extremely cautious about what they brand as an Apple product.

Apple has struck a cultural nerve, especially with Generation X and Gen Y, while Windows and PC are viewed in essence as 'My parents' computer'.

Apple is taking steps to move their brand to other rooms beyond just the Mac. It's no longer just sitting in the den.
