It's a shame this happens, but we don't want to have someone who's looking to support the Boys & Girls Clubs through a purchase suffer for it.

We definitely have some people in the community who have not respected the art, and it's a shame.

Rain or shine, and it doesn't matter what sport, boys or girls, those guys show up to show their support for Trinity. It's hard to make generalizations, but they just want to be a part of something else, to be part of a team. OK, they lack the athletic ability of the others, but they are dedicated. There's always room for them.

In some cases, people are not intentionally causing damage. They think they can jump up and take a picture, and they break off the tail. The sculptures aren't created for that. They're to look at.

The purpose of this night is to support the Boys and Girls Club youth development programming.

I could see both the boys and girls races being very close. It isn't just Penn and then everybody else, like before. There are a lot of teams in the mix.
