It's always going to be competitive with everyone fighting for time. That's what I think creates a winning environment with everyone working hard.

Certainly, there are things that all clubs fight whether it's geography or lack of winning or finances. They're fighting a whole number of issues.

They see themselves winning [over other groups] and now they're fighting to see who gets the biggest piece of the action. That puts the U.S. in a different position.

We're fighting for a playoff spot. We're fighting to keep a winning season. We've had seven consecutive years of .500 or better. I remember in 2000 that was our third straight winning season. That was the first time that's happened at Charles Henderson since 1981 or '82. Plus, we are playing Stanhope Elmore. I've told our guys if we win this game they can say something that an awful lot of good Charles Henderson football players can't say - they've beaten Stanhope Elmore. So this is a big game for us.

That's why they've been able to create a winning environment, from top to bottom.

We want to win the ACC and the NCAA [Tournaments]. If we don't do that then our season was a flop.
