It's hot out here. It's low humidity, in the single digits. Winds are gusting to 35 to 40 mph.

Our biggest unknown factor is the Santa Ana winds.

The humidity is bad and it is very hot.

The low humidity, the high winds, the lack of rain -- it's all a pretty good recipe for a fast-moving fire.

With the gusty winds, low humidity and all the hard freezes lately, it's created an abundant amount of dry, dead fuels. Our big concern is that (debris) fires are going to get away from people and the winds will pick them up and they'll race across the brush.

The winds were blowing 50 mph and gusting to 70. I hit a par-3 with my hat.
