It's just another way that our district supports literacy.

...it is very well worth while to be tormented for two or three years of one's life, for the sake of being able to read all the rest of it. Consider - if reading had not been taught, Mrs. Radcliffe would have written in vain - or perhaps might not have written at all.

It's just to celebrate literacy more than anything. We want students to know that they can read for pleasure as well as to get information.

He's a natural runner. He's just a natural athlete. He plays basketball and was our top runner in cross country.
