It's nice to finish strong and end the season on a good note. It's nicer to be above .500 than below it. But .500 is mediocre. We want to be better than that.

[Carlos] Delgado's the guy you're most concerned about. It's nice to have a few lefties in case you need to use them.

He had a nice game. I noticed he had more pep in his step.

We wanted to sweep once we took the first two. I get greedy. But it's a long season. We've played for a month, but I don't think we done anything yet. And one more victory wasn't going to change that.

They see the finish line and they don't want the season to slip away. They want to finish above .500. They have pride.

It's a different approach nowadays. That's why it's nice to see players like David Wright come into the system. He has that approach.
