I was extraordinarily explicit. As an investment, this is a lousy one.

We have invested tens of millions in capital from loyal and patient investors to bring our products from invention to market. But we are still a small company, and we can only succeed and innovate if large companies are kept from violating the laws that protect inventors and innovators.

[Our] patents have become fundamental to remote access of business data. We have worked very hard to develop these technologies and we want to be respected and ensure that we get the award—other people should not take the fruits of our labor in their hands.

We are asking at this point for an injunction that prohibits RIM from selling products that infringe our technology and our patents.

Now that we have that victory, we're more convinced of the validity of our patents.
