We are asking at this point for an injunction that prohibits RIM from selling products that infringe our technology and our patents.

We have invested tens of millions in capital from loyal and patient investors to bring our products from invention to market. But we are still a small company, and we can only succeed and innovate if large companies are kept from violating the laws that protect inventors and innovators.

To be clear, RIM doesn't believe an injunction is appropriate.

We cannot allow other companies to copy our products and infringe our patents.

I was extraordinarily explicit. As an investment, this is a lousy one.
