It's very difficult to schedule anytime you're a 5A school, especially when people know you have a solid team. At the time, we thought it was going to be a solid schedule, not overpowering.

People have said nasty things about us because of those scores. Then they find out those kids don't play anymore once the game is in control. They're playing less than half the game.

This means a great deal to us, especially since the school is so new. We want to show people that we're a good team, too.

You just can't turn that down very easily. They are a known program. It's a very prestigious school, and it's a great honor to go there.

It happened in an isolated west wing exit door of the school.

The state tournament means a lot to us. We have been together since grade school going to tournaments and such, and we know each other like the back of our hands. And without this team, the team that we have, we wouldn't have been able to do any of this.
