I've never been to a game where Iowa's lost, ever. And that's 35 games.

I was throbbing. (My hand) was totally swollen.

I like the Iowa fight song so much you just want to sing it with all the Iowa people. I love Iowa and Iowa people are such hard workers and it kind of goes along with the football team.

I got so excited I fell down the stairs and broke my hand. They told me I needed to leave, but I waited to go to the emergency room when I got back (home) to West Des Moines.

I certainly want the kids to be the best they can, but if we don't win all the games, it's not that big of a deal any more. I'm equally concerned now with making sure these girls develop into wonderful members of the community.

We played tough both games. I was really proud of the girls.
