Lafayette gave us fits in the first half. They can really score some points. I was happy with how we played in the zone. We were smart and were able to contest the people we were supposed to contest. We stopped the bleeding.

Kate made some tough baskets. I'm happy she's getting to the line because that shows she's taking the ball strong to the basket. I also thought she was very aggressive on the glass.

All players go through lulls and the real testament is what you do about it. Carly asked for extra workouts and has done more in the last two weeks than anyone.

Every time we got something going they would make a big play. You can't come out against a good team and dig yourself into a hole from the get-go. We were playing from behind for the entire game.

Bill was one of the first names suggested to us. We were very impressed with the candidates. Bill has a great passion for college athletics. He has terrific personal relationships in our business and with the media. We felt he would bring credibility to the position.

[The team] really stepped up their intensity and played intelligently down the stretch. Every win makes us head in the right direction. It's always a good feeling to get a win after you haven't won in a while.
