Making sure curriculum is researched based to ensure it isn't a fad is very important when working toward meeting state standards. Curriculum needs to be well-rounded, and I would hate to see programs cut at the expense of something else.

We were looking for something pretty specific: secure facility, educated staff, a structured curriculum, clean, decent cost, flexible schedule, low student-to-teacher ratio and a good feeling and comfort level were all extremely important to us. We also wanted something close to home.

Parents Anonymous has no set curriculum. The issues or problems that come up is what dictates the discussion for that particular week.

My interest in the education of our students and my previous work all goes together.

My children are old enough that I have more time. It is time to step up.

They often have a lesser curriculum, less challenges, less demands. And it's totally unfair to have these two different systems.
