Parents Anonymous has no set curriculum. The issues or problems that come up is what dictates the discussion for that particular week.

Making sure curriculum is researched based to ensure it isn't a fad is very important when working toward meeting state standards. Curriculum needs to be well-rounded, and I would hate to see programs cut at the expense of something else.

There is no set curriculum. Every child, every parent is different, but this program gives parents the tools to start the learning process.

We were looking for something pretty specific: secure facility, educated staff, a structured curriculum, clean, decent cost, flexible schedule, low student-to-teacher ratio and a good feeling and comfort level were all extremely important to us. We also wanted something close to home.

It's frustrating because the big players get the big money (for Community Development Block Grants). We're not a big road project or anything, but we do benefit the county.

I think we are OK for right now. The next go-around for federal government comes up in October, so we'll see, then.
