Matt does a good job of not letting a guy get in his head. I don't know what Peppers was talking about. He didn't have that great of a game.

They were playing up for the run. I got behind (Dan) Morgan and Matt threw a perfect pass.

I want him to think of me in those situations, because it's a mismatch for me to be out there on DBs and linebackers, ... If I don't make those plays, I can't ask for that. Me making that play allows me to say, 'Oh, put it up. I'll make that play for you.' It builds confidence in him that I'm going to do that.

It's certainly not in the job description, ... The good thing is I've been a head coach for 15 years. A first-year head coach could have been a wreck.

He's not Superman, so we're going to treat him like any other guy. Hopefully we can do a good job of keeping him off the bases. When he gets on there, he makes it happen.

I know the guy. He's definitely not going to surprise me. I'm letting guys know how talented he is, so hopefully we'll be ready for him.
