Morel mushrooms have an almost systematic pattern of growth. Once they sprout, they only fruit for 3 to 4 weeks in any one area, but the dedicated morel hunter can extend the collecting season by starting in the south and following the spring northward.

It takes decades for shrub communities to restore themselves. Grasses can sprout in a year or two.

It should be obvious that this pattern of systematic holes and gaps in Iraq's declaration is not the result of accidents, editing oversights or technical mistakes. These are material omissions that -- in our view -- constitute another material breach. It is up to Iraq to prove that there is some other explanation besides the obvious one, that this declaration is just one more act of deception in a history of lies from a defiant dictator.

There's so much growth going on and there's doesn't seem to be any planning.

I feel like I got here on my merits. Quite frankly, if I thought that was the reason, I probably wouldn't have taken the position.
