Next time we need to schedule this before the alien abduction, ... Parents should be out there cheering, 'Yeah, we're ready for school to start.'

We have this discussion with parents in our practice all the time. Start them when they are young and they will grow up understanding about making financial decisions.

I can't stand the 'I don't care' attitude from children, the 'I don't have time' attitude from parents, and the setting of unattainable goals without the proper resources from politicians.

The beauty of "spacing" children many years apart lies in the fact that parents have time to learn the mistakes that were made with the older ones - which permits them to make exactly the opposite mistakes with the younger ones.

They have to get up earlier and eat breakfast earlier. The parents must be committed also.

We (currently) offer quite a few enrichment and academic classes that parents would have to choose just one for their child to participate in. By having two four-week sessions, we shorten the sessions just a little bit, we offer a lot more opportunity. We offer kids (the opportunity) to take two of those classes and really be involved in school more during the summer.
