Not Mad. Just Glad

Is everything okay your way?

I'd rather be labeled as a big hitter. I'm not mad. I'm glad I am considered a big hitter because that's rare. It's hard to find safeties who will put their head in there on every play.

Not to make excuses, but the kids were a little overwhelmed at the beginning. A lot of them, when they got done with beam, didn't even remember doing it. But they got their focus back again. We had nice floors, our vaults really good and our bars was real consistent. We were proud to be here, to begin with.

The level down here is unbelievable. They take some great lessons from what they experienced.

I'm very happy for them and was sad for us when they dismounted their last event. Those kids can't be replaced. We'll miss them.
