Obviously coming out in the fifth inning is not what you want. I threw the ball alright. i got some pitches up in the zone and they took advantage of it.

[Italiano] threw the ball extremely well early on. The wheels fell off there a little bit in the fourth inning.

It was a good win. We had one bad inning where we lost our composure. Cooper threw the ball well, but we had to manufacture runs.

The two walks and the ball in center field that dropped obviously were bigger contributors in that inning than the missed call on the check swing.

Perez hit that ball, but it wasn't like he actually knew what was coming. He just reacted to it, threw the head of the bat on it and it hit the wall. I made the pitch I wanted to, and he happened to hit it. He's a strong kid.

Whenever that phone rings, I'm always looking. I could be going in in the fifth inning or the fourth inning, or I could be going in there seventh or eighth inning. Nobody's said anything to me. I'll just be ready.
