On the whole, we believe the new U.S. proposals have taken into account and considered the worries and concerns of some of us.

China welcomes all constructive proposals aimed at properly resolving Iranian nuclear issue through diplomatic channels.

But on the other hand, we believe that further applying diplomatic efforts, and diplomatic means to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue, remains a relatively suitable and better option.

We're encouraged that Mr. Harper appears to have taken some of our concerns into account. If Mr. Harper is serious about making this Parliament work, we will be open to working with him.

There is absolutely no such consensus,
