Our defense played well enough to win this game. We just had no offense.

We're not playing defense,

We got a lot of those points out of our defense. We put a little pressure on them. We scored 22 points but we gave up 19. So both teams were running the ball pretty well.

Our problem is not on offense. Our problem is defense, and until we realize that, we're going to struggle. If we figure it out and understand that we need to play [together] on the defensive end, then we'll get a lot better.

We didn't do a good job of playing our assignments. We didn't play our assignments on offense, defense or on special teams. When you don't play your assignments things like blocked punts happen.

Golden West has a good program and when you are playing good teams you have to play good defense and you need timely hitting. This was a good game for us to play, we'll learn from it.
