Parents have been amazed to see their teenagers become black belts but with the ability to sit down and totally focus on their school homework.

In the first place, their parents probably wouldn't be able to get them to come here. But if they show up here, they'll be figured out pretty fast. Some of the girls here will put the bully in his place real fast.

With the very young ones, parents want the kids to learn to focus and pay attention. If you can't focus, you can't learn. Parents want these children to discover that learning is fun.

Why aren't you girls out stealing hubcaps or shoplifting like normal children?

All the teenagers I know are against it; all the parents are for it. I'm going to come down on the side of the parents because they do know best.

We want people to leave here after a session knowing they got a good workout, feeling confident and able to defend themselves.
