Right now the program is on a treadmill running along without making any progress and its because Andy can't go out and successfully recruit. Until then, expect this program after this year to struggle severely.

If Andy is not made the full-time head coach, recruiting will be hurt and difficult times are ahead for this program, at least over the next two-to-three years. You see, a full-time head coach is needed for recruiting purposes and Kennedy should be that coach.

This is a group of kids and a coach that you can't help but root for especially, after everything has happened, and I am a big fan of Andy Kennedy.

He's made a lot of progress from where we were with him in the spring. He's running the offense. He has control. He knows what's going on. Things aren't going 100 miles an hour for him. He's not forgetting calls, forgetting signals. That's all part of the process.

He's improved every year we've played. He was running around and making a lot of plays, but we didn't start pointing fingers. We knew somebody had to step up and make a play.

We're making progress. We've started painting the inside and things are really coming together.
