She fought back. She kicked the guy as hard as she could, which is why he eventually left the store running. To me, this is the ultimate insult, the ultimate injury. I think it's a reminder too, though, of how good people have to stand up and take their community back, about what we, the law-abiding citizens, need to do to protect our corner of America.
