[She] is an extremely bright and articulate young woman, and she's also brave, ... She was able to give us enough detail. She was giving us enough detail to locate a location where we thought we might encounter a suspect.

He deserved it. It was us showing him our respect. It was the same amount of respect that he had showed us.

Mike has a lot of fans in here. This team has grown to love Mike. Some of us have been with him since he was an assistant here.

I'm glad I live here hearing that. They've just really done a lot -- giving us entertainment, to give us nice restaurants, you know, clean streets. The schools are great. It's a fun little town to live in.

The most gruesome scene that we see is this woman in the cage getting her fingernails clipped. We never see any stabbings. We never see any stranglings. I very much think that you don't have to show it to scare the audience. And when I wrote that scene, everybody told me I was sick. But it's just a woman getting her nails clipped.

I went to school at this log school house. A white woman was my teacher, I do not remember her name. My father had to pay her one dollar a month for me. Us kids that went to school did not have desks, we used slates and set on the hued down logs for seats.
