This is possible during the period of temporary detention, according to Vietnam's criminal procedure code. However, we still have to consider this issue.

They have blinders on. They want a state court to decide their case, and they can't have a state court decide their case without overruling 200 years of United States Supreme Court precedents.

My reading of that case is that the U.S. Supreme Court has said that the state legislature has plenary power, full power, in respect to appointment of presidential electors and that power cannot be eroded even by the state constitution,
