Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected.

What amazes me is how far some people will go to justify their behavior to themselves, just to preserve that self-perception.

With girls, there's an insecurity that starts early on. It hangs around them, like some annoying kid from down the block who won't take the hint and go home when dinnertime comes. And moms are usually not great at giving their daughters confidence.

In the end, the people who do morning television are not actors. In morning television, the real you comes out no matter who it is.
