That was one of the bright spots for us. We kept chipping at them. We have to play well for longer stretches. With only one starter returning, we're still trying to get acclimated to varsity play.

It was frustrating to see us play so well for 25 or 26 minutes. Then it was like a different team out there.

It shows us no matter where we are or who we play, we can stay with them. We spotted them 21 points. To go out and get the win is great for everyone's confidence.

I would have liked us to finish in first place and me play a little better individually. I'm happy where we are at with the tournament coming up. I like where we stand. I'm just feeling really good about the games coming up.

Then we have to play a team that had beat us twice. It would have been easy to get our heads down. One week showed a lot about these guys.

We didn't play well. They overpowered us and put us on the defensive. They're taller than the teams we've played. They had quick hits in the middle and hit the ball down, and we didn't get our hands on the ball in time.
