That's the gauntlet right there. The schedule isn't easy for us either. We have to play both Turlock schools in Turlock this year.

We are one of the smaller schools so it is tough enough to find kids to play. The larger schools have a bigger pool to pick from.

Anytime you play schools from higher leagues, they're preparing us for our league. We've played some really good teams. I would like to play those teams at home sometimes for my own feelings that if we could do that, we could be competitive with them. Playing at home and not having to travel is a plus.

I think moving up to Group AAA would give us better equity among the schools we would play. But I think we would be competitive in either model.

I think all mid-major schools are being doubted right now. But as far as us, we're No. 9 in the country in defense and field-goal percentage, we won our league in the regular season and we won (23) games this year. I think we deserve it.

My mom had to beg the guys to let me play. I couldn't even play the drums right - Brian had to show me.
