The adverse effect of being a compassionate person is that very often you give mankind's cruelty the key to the cage wherein your dark self dwells. As a precaution, you need a supernatural power to restrain your dark self when that cage is opened and your dark self is given the invitation to come out.

The more I tried to live my life on other people's terms, the more I kept thinking that I'm wrong; wrong about my identity, wrong about my feelings, wrong about my style of communication, and what I wanted to do in life. Then suddenly I realized that there must be something grossly wrong with this sort of approach to life. That was the beginning of my journey of self discovery.
