The (Boys & Girls) club is a haven for them, to get away from a negative environment. It provides great opportunities for kids. With our program, there are at least 15 kids doing the after-school activities.

It's just a positive atmosphere for girls and boys. They can expect to learn something. It's not an environment where we come to camp and let them play five-on-five because they won't learn anything.

I could see both the boys and girls races being very close. It isn't just Penn and then everybody else, like before. There are a lot of teams in the mix.

A lot of the girls can shoot as hard as the guys. (But) the boys are so much quicker and faster. And they shoot from everywhere. So it really helps us to always be ready. It's good for reflexes.

Since a lot of them, the varsity boys and some of the girls, ran during the summer, we have been able to hit some hill work and speed work earlier in the season. Plus, we have added some circuit training; which includes sit-ups, push-ups and various other exercises to build the core muscles.

I'm into the girls fancying me and stuff, mad for it. Get a bit worried if boys started fancying me, definitely. I've got nothing against gays . . . as long as they don't pinch me on the bum or whatever.
