The cultural stuff is easier for parents to deal with than race, because it's fun.

It is a fun race, just enough to be challenging, not long, but not a sprint. It has great atmosphere, weather, a warm pool instead of a cold lake and excellent volunteers, most of which have been at their points for 19-20 years.

This was a fun race for me. It was a training-type run to see where I'm at.

It's fun to put on a race this spectator friendly.

In the solo category, there's going to be a race, and it's going to be fun to watch. The good people will probably be neck and neck.

Given how late I entered this race, it is not at all a bad showing.
