The kids are a little disappointed. They have been playing 'what if?' all day.

When we played at Blue Ridge last week, we brought up three freshmen so we could have 25 kids suited up. I'd prefer not to have to play anyone both ways, but we're just not in the position to do that. Some of our kids never ever leave the field.

We have pretty good pressure. Our kids get after it.

It turned out to be an exciting day. I didn't get off to a great start. Those three straight birdies really got me going. This is the last major and you want to do well.

It was just a normal day. Nothing out of the ordinary happened.

Coaches have a certain amount of influence that maybe parents don't have. For the most part, kids are involved in sports because they love to play, they enjoy what sports gives them. Some kids, it may be the one positive thing they have going on. Maybe they're struggling a little bit in school.
