The relationship between my family and the Mariners' family has been amazing. Our relationship is not over, just changing. I look forward to staying involved in some way, shape or form in the years to come.

Let go of trying to change someone. Living as a positive example creates postive changes in those around you.

In the best of times, it takes weeks, but we don't have weeks. Not only do we need mariners, but we need to get people to work around here.

You kept telling yourself to not look over your shoulder, but the Mariners were making so much noise. That's how Cleveland is right now. Everybody is talking about them. You've got to find a way to stop it -- whether that means taking the televisions out of the clubhouse, stopping newspaper delivery, whatever. You've got to do it.

I think the Mariners have made it clear that he's not part of their plans. That's their prerogative. As far as Bucky is concerned, he's appreciative. They let him live his dream. He just would have written the end of the script differently.

It reaffirms this notion that there is mismanagement and corruption rampant - even though that's not in fact the case.
