When kids are saying my family comes from Poland or Russia, you have to say my family comes from Georgia or my family comes from Tennessee.

There's some skepticism still. Hopefully by Homecoming the students will be more involved.

The farm will give younger kids an idea of where the apples they eat come from, where the eggs that Mom feeds them at home come from, before she buys them in the store. Having to dig for potatoes in the sand will make kids realize that it takes some effort to get to some foods,

You have to get kids hooked. By enticing students in language classes, they will want to take it further.

This tournament will give our kids a chance to socialize and interact with other deaf students across the Southeast. This is a big event for them, not only athletically but socially as well.
