The traditional high school concept for a frightening number of people just doesn't work.

A lot of people know the fire school is in town, but not many have been to it. This gives us the opportunity to show people what we do. It's a place where we are doing a lot for the community, the state and country.

So many people ask us, 'What do we need to do to get this in our school? How much do I need? Thousands of dollars?' And we're like, not at all. We could probably get a starting setup for 400 bucks or less. They're so amazed. Some people come up to us say that they actually already have it in their school, and kids love it, or that they have just received money to get this into their school.

We are going to continue to work on this project and try to get different color bins so people can place their cans in this bin, and the can collectors can know that this bin is for them.

What it boils down to is parents are going to be mad at us because schools are overcrowded, when it's not our fault.

The new construction so far has been on the backs of the people who work for the school district. And that is not the way it is supposed to be done.
