There is a real opportunity right now as parents and grandparents to come up with a plan that leaves our kids with something better than we have; that is, an opportunity to own, build, and grow a nest egg of their own.

Sometimes the kids come up with better endings than the real story.

The Pell Grant is more than a financial aid program for college students in need. It is the right thing to do for America's college students, and it is the right thing to do for America's economy.

We now have an opportunity for our generation to make our mark on human history. Our parents and grandparents took us to the Moon the first time. Now it's time for us to go back to the Moon to stay, and then head straight for Mars.

The kids just have a place where they go, where their parents went to school, grandparents went to school. It's got tradition you can't replace by moving them somewhere else.

Parents are so busy running the kids around to activities, if we could also tell grandparents and aunts and uncles, it would help.
