There is no reason to fear the tap water; we guarantee its safety.

It's a public safety issue. If you close down the track, what's gonna happen out there? Everybody has the fear of illegal street racing.

The department obviously has a concern about the safety issues, as well as the snowmobile going into the water and fuel seepage. But for now there are no plans I know of to ban skipping.

Getting people stranded on their rooftops to safety is a priority. We want to get people out because the water is contaminated.

The reason I want this contract is I really do enjoy directing the Water Resources Agency. I don't want to look... I want to stay here.
