There's a lot of speculation out there and a lot of rumors going around. We're just trying to clear the air and give everybody a fresh outlook as to what's happening out there.

This is something that's been open for 40 years, 40-plus years. You have generations of racers out there that come out there every weekend. And to just up and close it, you can't do that.

It's a public safety issue. If you close down the track, what's gonna happen out there? Everybody has the fear of illegal street racing.

Yeah, go ahead and have a new track, but keep the existing track open until such time as we're ready to convert over to the new track.
