These things are not inexpensive, and that?s probably the reason these things have not been done before.

It?s an opportunity for people to see the booths and hopefully get some pre-sales arranged. It?s a big celebration of the artists? work. I like to look at it like a gallery opening.

Arts and culture are an industry, and I think that it serves a dual purpose — while we look at quality of life, it's also an economic driver. Hopefully at the end, both private and public sectors will see that investment in the creative infrastructure isn't just something that feels good but also has a direct return to their cities and businesses.

I really think that cost is the big factor. We're not inexpensive, even for our own Pennsylvanians, and I think that's motivating some students to be conscious of the time it takes them to finish their degree.

It really has to catch their eye. It's not about being inexpensive. It's about having emotional value. It has to be compelling.
