They are a wonderful group of people. There were roaches crawling on my feet. I was speechless. The house smelled. The nurse held this woman's hand and treated her with such dignity. If I had a wish, it would be to give them a raise and hope to get more nurses to join them.

I think it's really indicative of how Suffolk wants everyone to want to have a [unique] experience. It's not a trade school. I think it's a life-changing experience. You can study exactly what you want to know about and take it into your own hands You're designing your own semester.

It's an excellent opportunity for kids willing to work hard. There's nothing else like it.

They are not a priority for this commissioner.

We know we are going to have some people who are going to have some issues. But we are uncovering gaps, uncovering mistakes, getting people connected to their plans.
