They say "never burn a bridge, because you never know when you may have to cross it again." Some bridges are so unsteady that we not only need to burn it, but blow it up and if you ever have to go that way again, take a chance swimming with the alligators. At least you know you're in danger and so you will be more aware of your surroundings.
