This day is the only celebration that anybody does for survivors of breast cancer. It shows people who are newly diagnosed that there is hope because we have been here for years.

To this day, I'm not upset that I had cancer. I almost knew I had it before I received the call. I was OK with it because as soon as I talked to Beth, I had a game plan.

He did speak globally when he talked about cancer and the effect it had on so many people. So I think he wouldn't be surprised that there are runs around the world now.
