This is a very strange appropriations year. We are dealing with a surplus and budget cuts. The question is who is gong to take the pain for spending cuts?

There are issues such as what are we going to do with this enormous (budget) surplus that we have. I think Al Gore clearly has the vision of what to do with that. It's a much better vision than that of George W. Bush,

If we can't find cuts in the defense budget, we're not looking carefully enough.

Our budget on an annual basis this past year is $660,000. We currently have expended $400,000 over that budget.

You've got a surplus so far for the year of just under an inch, which is good.

Unfortunately, when budget cuts are looming, CSP could be a target.
