This is an old story that keeps repeating: The people who are way out there and pushing the limits of power, they eventually are pushed out themselves. Jim Wright and Newt Gingrich did that, and they went. Now Tom DeLay. It was just a matter of time.

The wit makes fun of other persons; the satirist makes fun of the world; the humorist makes fun of himself, but in so doing, he identifies himself with people - that is, people everywhere, not for the purpose of taking them apart, but simply revealing their true nature.

I find it interesting that these same few people that signed the petition are willing to let the city limits goose hunt continue, ... That tells me they are not as interested as keeping the neighborhood safe as they are in keeping people out who are enjoying a legal activity.

It wasn't just speed limits. They saw a lot of driver behaviors that were extraordinary. People making aggressive moves. People, because of the congestion and delays, taking some risks.

It sounds wonderful. We've been using the old schoolhouse, but it really limits the amount of people you can have at a meeting.

Everything in life depends on how that life accepts its limits
