This is going to take a community effort. We know we need a well-educated workforce for us to be competitive. Many of our children and parents don't have vision. We need to get prepared.

Our high schools are critical to the success of our community. Restructuring is critical. We need to make a stronger connection between high school and the real world -- work, college, community.

Every community has had to identify emergency dispensing sites in the event of a mass vaccination effort.

It's not a black and white issue, but an economic one.

We would like to engage the community in this effort. We want to make this a community project, not just a historical project.

With all them being involved, it makes more of a community effort out of the whole event, which is what keeps the whole homecoming idea alive. And the result of that is something that's lasted longer than any of us, and hopefully it'll continue doing that.
