To have these events monitored is a ridiculous misuse of funds. This kind of surveillance has a chilling effect.

Why is our government spying? We?re not a terrorist threat. Indeed, we?re a threat to the administration?s policies. The administration knows the American people [oppose Bush?s policies] when they?re fully informed.

The Georgia Peace and Justice Coalition will continue to exercise our constitutional rights.

Had we not joined forces and brought these events about, our community may not even be aware of the kinds of resources (that are available). We've given them a message that we are here and that we are working on violence and substance abuse in their community.

In one event's time, we do have something for everyone. It's a nice way to ring in the New Year.

This clearly has nothing to do with human agency. These dispersal events happened long before humans were around.
