Tonight was a total team effort. We initiated everything from the defensive end and the offensive picked up as a result.

I was pretty happy with a good solid effort for four quarters. There are things we have to keep working on and keep improving. We could do better on the defensive end but overall I'm happy with their performance.

It was a lack of communication defensively in terms of what we set up to do in the game plan. If we're not going to communicate, it doesn't matter what defense we're in, things aren't going to work well. They were playing smart ball. We didn't react to what they were doing.

We tried to feel each other out back in November, so this was a good measuring stick. The margin was closer the first time, but we played a much better game tonight and competed more. The score obviously won't show that.

We went into the locker room and we could have been in a better situation, but we missed some free throws. We were pleased and played the style of game that we wanted to. We kept ourselves within striking distance, but it was unfortunate that they went on that run.

It had a feel all night that whichever team had it last would have the upper hand. Unfortunately for us, they had it last.
