Usually in October, you have more sunshine and it's one of the driest months of the year in the eastern U.S.. So all of this is unusual for this time of year.

Last year was sort of wet in the spring, and this year may end up being one of the driest Marches in history.

Usually January and February are slow months, but not this year.

The total last year was about 15 inches, and that puts it down as the 15th driest year on record. So with that dry last year combined with what we were experiencing so far this year, it really does not portend very well for the future.

It was like one of those practices we usually have in the beginning of the year. It was so hard. Everybody was getting physical, everybody was competing.

It appears to be one of the largest single-site surveys from the Roman period in the eastern Mediterranean.
