We actually start getting a lot of calls from people about broken pipes.

We definitely urge people to have their pipes protected. Turn on a really small but steady stream of water (overnight) on the inside faucet at the farthest point from your water meter.

A very small part of the water rate increase is to make additional money available from water rates to help low income people with their bill.

The decrease we had last year will at least partially off set the increase we are proposing for this year.

It makes you feel better about helping people.

I remember from my earliest years, ... people speaking, you know, in a certain kind of rhythm and telling stories and sharing experiences in a way that was different in Indian country than it was other places.
